A single illustration developed in 2025 depicting four children caught in the aftermath of a broken picture frame — each reacting in a completely different way.
A self-initiated illustration developed in 2025 to demonstrate character expression and group dynamics within a single scene. Four children, one broken frame, and four completely distinct reactions: panic, freeze, blame, and horror. The composition is framed by a doorway, positioning the viewer as a fifth witness to the chaos.

Each child was designed with a distinct silhouette, skin tone, and costume to read as a separate personality at a glance.
The warm, lived-in interior — striped walls, teal carpet, wood furniture — grounds the scene in a familiar domestic space, while the loose digital watercolor treatment keeps the atmosphere light despite the impending trouble.
Developed digitally using layered watercolor textures, with close attention to expression, body language, and the spatial dynamics of a group scene viewed from a slightly elevated angle.
